Create your first job
On the planner page, click on the "Add New Job" button.
Assign a date
Assigning a date is optional, if you don't add one it won't appear on the planner.
Add a customer
If a customer exists you can assign them at this stage. If not you can add a new customer and vehicle which we will do now.
Add a vehicle
If you are in the UK you can use our automated vehicle lookup to find the vehicle details by entering the registration number.
Booking confirmation and reminders
If your customer has an email address and/or phone number, you can choose which channels to send booking confirmations and reminders through — email, SMS, or both.
Add a technician
You can assign a technician to the job if you wish. Or they can assign themselves from the pool of all jobs within the Techview
Add tasks
Tasks are a fundamental part of Workauto. They allow you to break down a job into smaller, manageable parts. You can add as many tasks as you need to a job.
